This is an Antique 1900's Type A Engravograph Engraving Machine which came out of a Manhattan estate and it is in good looking condition. It was made by the Engravograph Corporation of New York City, New York, is Type A, Serial Number 5186, Model 15 and it likely . This engraving device predated any of the pantograph engravers which are prevalent today and we were unable to obtain information about this anywhere else on the web. It features highly intricate mechanical movement and the heavy black enameled cast iron base with beautiful stenciling so common to the machines which date back to the first decades of the 1900's and the late 1800's. This is a rare early engraver whether you want to use it for display and/or restore it back to service. It measures 8''x10''x17-1/2'' and weighs 48 pounds.
